no-one needs to delete and lock threads.

The beauty of rides like this is it has plenty of drop out points if people are worried about their mileage they will say at one stop "i'm nipping off from X place back home, thanks for the run" kind of thing.

keep the thread as it is, put the toys back in the pram and lets have another fab ride out.

Date and time won't be changed it'll stay as is (8th May 10am start)

Chances are the start won't move either (Falkirk wheel) it keeps things simple, simple is what I do best... The route will probably be amended to add in the Dalveen Pass and take out Muirkirk and East Kilbride but we'll see. To be honest last months route was changed on the day (we all went to see the GM Campsite)

i quite enjoyed the route discussions. got a good list of nearly all the biking roads in the lowlands.

any room for a wobbly yorkshire immigrant? wont moan about the route as i probably wont know where i am anyway.

After much careful research these past couple of weeks I can confirm the above to be true.

Very true.

(For the true connoisseurs of such things, it's best heading South).
