Good to meet everyone - hopefully when I can next make it (2 weeks) I will have a nice shiny, pointy, red K6 - instead of the GN125 with the top box from heck (doesnt really qualify for hell I feel)

Bad news Zarg... sorry to hear that! Glad you got it all fixed now though.

I too had a purse-crushing moment this afternoon, albeit to a lesser extent, when the sidepod wotsit broke off my lid when changing my visor. £25 in the blink of an eye. (Jo - you will have PM soon!)

The rubbish thing being that I did exactly the same to Verna BBC's lid a few months ago at SELKent. "Look", said clever cazza... "it's really easy to change Arai visors... oh...".

My lid's currently sporting a white 'ear', courtesy of the Squid household. (Thanks Ian, as ever)
