They usually use lockwire on track bikes to hold stuff that may come off, spose it could be that

Do you have to use lockwires at track days?

Thought it was racing only? Stops bits falling off and liquids spewing and all that...such as the sump plug and such and such.

I picked up a free new motorcycling news monthy when i was there and it mentions bassetts pole in that.!!
