People post them, but get very little response. Some people are only interested if it starts right on their doorstep, and with this section covering a huge area, that doesn't happen very often.

We've just about given up posting them, as people might have to ride more than 5 miles to get to the start

5 mile's (extended builderesque teeth suck) that's a fair distance .

I rode 6 miles once to get to the start of a ride out

Not bothered about names, its the people and the effort they give in organising and attending rides or meets that makes a good group

Orgers from the midlands need to do something, it's dead in our section compared to other areas.

Agreed DMC- I hate to give excuses but the reason for most of my absences is playing sport on Saturdays and wife organising things for Sundays. I'm going to make a concerted effort to come out to play more on Sundays though and hopefully do B.P. On Tuesdays too.

yes matey its a reformation attempt, a new name and new outlook on the area.. for people to make an effort.. and just a new start, the name is a symbol and the current one doesnt represent hardly any of us i believe

It's been like that for a long time before you joined. People have tried, and given up, and do stuff with other sections.

Binky and DMC are always up for a ride, and with Binky in the area there will hopefully be a lot more posted. Pointless us posting anything much, we're right at the south of the area, you're all oop north! We've been told before that anything we post is 'too far'.

There are several weekends away in the planning stages, but most are waiting for the dates for the Glencoe Massacre and the first North wales weekend to be confirmed before dates can be set.
