Default Brittany - France

Hi Chaps

I know France is discussed to death in here, However, If anyone has a personal reccomendation of a place to stay I'd be most grateful!

Looking at self catering cottage / gite etc.

I know of the site 'bikestay' looking for a personal reccomendation tho.

BTW, areas of Brittany / Normandy. ( I went there as a kid, have forgotten everything about it!)

Thanks in advance

I went last year and stayed very close to Perros Guirec.....we rented this little place pictured below which consisted of 2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds.

Lovely open plan downstairs with good kitchen and lounge area. It also had a garage which was a bonus.

which is pretty much here (If the search has worked) Its on the ouskirts of perroes guirec.

And puts you in the middle of all this.....

I have just been searching for the website we booked from but cant find it. I will ask my girlfriends dad as that who we went with (and who is pictured on the bike I'm not that old lol)

Look for a blue and black SV, thats one of each.

What are you doing, camping / gite / B&B?

At the moment I think I'm looking for a central location that i can spider out from. Mind you I only know one landmark, St mont Micheal and thats about it!

Ferries are a pain, is there any way of booking a ticket for 2x bikes 2xriders? As it is I am having to buy them as seperate journeys.

We are going for ten days. A few days riding eather side with no real plan then 5 nights in a Key Camp site in Saint Hillaire de Reiz. We are renting a tent that is ready set up with a proper bed and has a cooker and fridge etc. The ferry price was in with the deal which made it very cheap. Then we have a few days to bimble back.

We will be on a black SV650s. You will know its us as we will be pulling a wheely with all the luggage Katie wants to pack!

Its been a while, but online you can't book 2 together, for some odd reason(it was explained ont phone but its been 2 yrs) its a PITA. I ended up ringing up and sorting it out over the phone. I had managed to book one of us online, so it made it easier for them to book the second person, as I had the booking number for the first.

NO. Each vehicle needs to be booked on. The ticket is for a vehicle and it's passengers / driver. So each bike needs it's own ticket. Makes sense when you come to check in.
