front brake lines
Hi the minitwins regs say bottom splitter is needed but i'v noticed some of your bikes are useing twin lines,which way do i go? also lock wireing must haves and may as well do's apart from oil and water.

Mini twin regs say
"Front and rear hydraulic brake lines may be changed. The split of the front brake lines for both front brake callipers must be made above the lower fork bridge (bottom yoke)." If you run two lines the split is at the handlebar level, so is above the bottom yoke, in keeping with the rules. I've got a Hel 2 line set up on my bike. OE style lines that split above the front mud guard are not aloud within the rules laid out by the ACU. HTH J |

J is right, run a twin line from the master cylinder.

+1 on the braided lines.
You must lockwire the oil filler cap, sump plug and oil filter. You can do the water drain bolt but it isnt laid down that you have too. Also remember to use water and not coolant! |

Thanks all for info, one last thing rear brake mastercyclinder can you use straight pipe in sted of reservoir as our kit is a bit high to fit oe resivervoir
