Just changing my handlebars back to clip ons. I've just put the top yoke on and it has went on fairly easily until the top of the threaded part in the middle is flush with the top of the yoke, but it doesn't seem to want to go any further.
Any tips to let it slide a bit easier? Only a bit further required so as I can get the nut on! Any tips much appreciated as I'm hoping to get it done ASAP. I was going to try jacking the front up but don't have a front paddock stand handy, just an NWS stand. |

yup .. take the weight of the front end. or get a mate to push on the lower part of the forks while you put the yoke back on.. it should then just slide in.. its catching on the lip..

Cheers, I take it it's pretty much a two man job then without a stand?
Tried putting one hand under the bottom yoke and lifting a bit whilst trying to push it down with the other but still not having much luck. Looks like I'm going to have to wait until someone else is around! ![]() |
