Giving some serious thought to getting one of these in the new year. Anyone got any experience of them, particulalrly how they compare to a naked SV?

I had one of these as a loaner for 24 hours while my bike was having some work done on it. I thought it looked naff, particularly with the flames on the side of it. The bloke in the shop said it would make me grin like an idiot - yeah yeah I thought to myself.
5 minutes down the road and I was grinning like an idiot. Great fun! Fast, naked fun! The only bad things were the mirrors and the looks. Take one out for a spin, I bet it will make you laugh. Never ridden an SV (ahem, why am I here?!) so can't comment on that. |

I bought one a few months ago to replace a curvy svs (could not get comfy )
Good points Comfy as bikes go Its pretty quick (once you wind the revs up) ![]() Suspension way better than the SV The not so good IL4 needs some revs to get interesting (above 11k is mucho fun ) Its faster than the SV but somehow manages to feel slower unless really pushing on ![]() Thirsty compared to the SV In conclusion though I love it ![]() |

yeah, flames are a load of balls but I actually think it looks ok. I fancy something to have fun on. I'm trying to arrange a test ride at the minute but nowhere local has one that I cans see.
