Default Well hello there...

Looks like i'm probably going to be relocating back to Peterborough next year so thought i'd scout ahead and see if there are any meets etc I should be aware of in the area...

I kinda know the area but have been away for about 8 yrs and only had my 125 back then so never did any rideouts/meets...

so anyway Hello from not exactly a newbie

Oh goodie, you can come and join us in the East Anglian Revolution!!
Its been a bit quiet this year but we recently had a rideout to the east coast, we're in the process of planning our xmas meet and hopefully there will be a few more local rideouts next year, i'm going to make sure of it!! I'm also hoping that we can arrange a monthly meet somewhere central to the region but ssshhhh....i haven't told them about that yet

If you're in Peterborough then you're only 10 mins up the road from me and my partner, also an sv owner, we'd happily meet up and cover some of the local area with you, i'm always looking for someone to ride out with, as long as you don't mind waiting for me!!

haha, I think I saw you just infront / just behind me at AR09 kellyjo, I was on the green speed triple towards the back

No-one would have any problem keeping up with me anymore, I lost my fast riding mojo a few years ago in a crash

Aah yes, i remember you!! I'd only passed my test about a week when we went to the AR so i was incredibly nervous and only really got my act together after lunch.
My riding has improved a hundred-fold since then but i still don't ride particularly fast - im very conscious of needing to get home in one piece and its just not worth the risk, i havent got the experience or natural ability to get myself out of trouble if something goes wrong at high speed.

So when do you think you might be back in town? I'll be posting a poll in the next couple of days for a date for the EAR Xmas meet, why don't you coma along and say hello!!
