Fixed brake light always on problem today
First post here. (My son just got a 2001 sv650 last week)
We noticed it had a problem with the brake light always on today. After trouble shooting for an hour I noticed that there is a small piece of rubber on the front brake handle which pushes the front switch. This had moved a little out of place. When I slid it back, the problem was solved.... |

Was it an aftermarket lever? I've known some to give this problem unless you violently release the lever.

How nice you actually looked for a physical reason first rather than looking for an electrical one. Good catch
