Default Restricted bike questions.

I have a k6 sv 650s and because of the law i needed the bike restriced. the bike gets to 7 grand of revs fine then it hesitates and stops pulling does any one else have this problem ? also i only get 126 miles to a full tank is this normal?

126 miles to a tank's not too bad.

Your obviously not trying hard enough

That is how the restriction works, it cuts the revs down to 7k(ish), so nothing unusual there.

126miles to a tank seems a bit low to me, but depends on whether you are sat at 7k the whole time.

I never used to get more than about the 125 miles to a tank mark out of my unrestricted pointy.

sounds like you've got the inferior restricted by washers instead of restricted by ECU

Your fuel consumption's about the same as mine. On my restricted curvy I was getting like 90 miles if I was lucky. However, that said fuel consumption largely depends on how you ride it.
The pulling thing sounds normal enough, I usually hit about 7k get that annoying hesitation/suddenly pulled back feeling then it proceeds to pull a little bit more (not a lot). Doesn't stop dead though.
