Checked my emails this afternoon and it's been approved (finally).

I'll probably be flying out either at the end of this month or the beginning of next.

I've got lots to do now (including selling the bike and the car).

Anyone interested in a 51plate Vauxhall Vectra Sri 2.2l diesel or my GSXR?

My sister sopent 9 months in Oz, she loved it. My cousin is thinking of moving there permanently, he says its such a nicer place to be than the UK. I beleive him, and I envy him

This will be my second time Down Under.
I was in the RAF until they decided there were no training places for me.
They basically made me redundant in Jan but I've been on paid leave until last week.
I applied for the visa in mid Jan and it's finally come through today.

Well CONGRATS!

Not the slightest bit of envy here at all...

It's a years working holiday visa and I will be mainly travelling and doing bits of work when I need the cash to be able to travel again.

I plan to pick up either a trail bike or a 4x4 when I arrive and use that to tour with (not decided yet. A truck would be more practical but I think a bike would be more of an adventure).
