Default why is the bike ticking?

hi peoples im in australia and iv got a 09 sv650s with 7500km and about 2500km i noticed a ticking sound in line with engine rev its like a metalic sound a spark lead arcing sound maybe a cct but in the last 1500km i can hear it alot more when warm but the ticking is not there when engine is cold its there maybe after riding for about 15 20min what could it be? sounds like its comin from the top of engine or throttle bodys and the middle of front cylinder who knows its driving me crazy not knowing
took it to the dealer and they only used a stethoscope to assess it and they said it was a noisy injector i want it replaced under warranty but why would an injector tick loud for? but there saying wait till ur 12000km service if its still there will look into it but i dont want it there or dont wanna wait cause iv noticed the progress of the ticking what to do ? anyone got any good ideas

1stly, welcome to the org
2ndly, have you another SV you can get near? this may just be the infamous SV rattle.

Does sound like the injector area, because its done low miles I would wait and see if it settles down, I had this on a car implant I did one time, it settled down after a few long run's. If it starts causing performance issues I would get it back there asap.

My bike does the same. It's a noisy injector on mine (2008 R1). Apparently it is quite common on those. Doesn't cause any issues and I can only hear it when I start the bike up and I haven't got a helmet on. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

+ 1

I'm hearing voices sorry / ticking too , but its only starts when I have being in the saddle a while on a spin ( say 2 hrs +) , and noticeably mostly on acceleration, annoying or what !

I had forgotten about it until I read this thread, as the bike is all took up in the corner of the basement since this snow has come down here in Galway and driving in and out of work only takes 15 to 25 mins ! Wish I could help more instead of just sympathizing with you, sorry
