Angry DataTool S4 Parts - where from?

Hi Everyone,

Right so i've been working on my bike and whilst putting everything back together I have now lost a small part of my alarm.

for those who have them fitted I believe it could be either the ground or the motion "nudge" sensor. It's a tiny box shape that was screwed in on the metal under my pillion grab handle with 2 wires coming out of it.

I rang up the place where i got it fitted but they have advised me to go to Datatool and suprise suprise no number just a stupid contact us thing.

Does anyone know if i can get a spare one. Checked EvilBay and cannot find anything unless i buy a whole kit (No Ta)

Cheers

JT

It sounds like the trigger switch. You can get a new one from Datatool.

its a standard magnetic switch for the rear seat, any NO type is ok
motion sensor is within the alarm itself

If you'd like to turn something OFF when the two halves of your switch are apart, buy the NORMALLY-OPEN (NO) type; to turn something ON when the two halves are apart, buy the NORMALLY-CLOSED (NC) type, and yes Datatool should sell 'em.

Are you sure? In pic the box (no wires coming out of it) looks more like the magnet than the magnetic switch
