Default Recommend me an Alarmed Disc Lock

With this not exactly being budgeted, ideally it'll be as cheap as possible while maintaining effectiveness. I'll pay as much as is necessary to get the job done.

How do I make sure whatever I buy will the the SV? Most places dont have a compatibility chart but I see posts about fitment issues.

I already have a FB Mag subscription

Unless its super good value?!

EDIT: Nah, not spending £42 for a £35 Lock with 12 issues...I struggle to find time to read FB as it is...!

I had an Xena XN18 for my pointy SV. Big, heavy and had a very strong feel to it. Very loud too and fairly sensitive. Adapters can be bought to fit on a heavy-duty chain if you prefer or get a yellow bar reminder thingamajig if its going on your disc. Not cheap though but like everything you pay for what you get.

The main issue with the older Xena locks is they take a large number (six I think?) of tiny watch batteries which don't seem to last very long. The newer XX versions use a single lithium battery which is a much better idea, but the locks are quite pricey.
