Default Crashed Gixxer - Rebuild

Very excited..

I've bought my mates GSXR-600 after he threw it into the side of a car (that pulled out on him).

He's just dropped it off with the aid of his mate and his van.

Winter project, here we come.

Pics to follow..

If all the running gear is straight you've got a bargain there.

Hope so

All the plastics are broken / scratched (with the exception of the rear seat cover) and the front sub frame is broken.
I'm unsure about the forks at the moment, but I don't know if it's an optical illusion because of how the fairing is hanging off. I hope to get it stripped back this weekend so I can have a good look at it.

Stay tuned..

+1 on that Tom!
even by eye you'll not know for sure if they're straight or not.
last thing you want to do is find out only after you've spent a load of time and money rebuilding it only to stuff it at the first highspeed bend.
