Default Double Bubble

Thinking of getting a Double Bubble screen for the bike.
Is it worth it? Do they actually keep the wind buffeting down?
What should i look for, and are they easy to fit?
Sorry if this has been done before!

Okay, just came across the postings for the 'Airblade Screen' Doh!
Pay attention at the back!
Must say the question of the fit of the aftermarket screens puts me off a little though.

You could get a Suzuki one, only about twice the cost and only available in clear, I think.

I can highly recommend F.fabbri ones - seem thicker & more solidly made than some I've seen - and they come in a wide choice of colours.
It's bubble was just the right size & shape for me too - I'm just over 6' tall and skinny!

Hi Steve

I had an iridium Airblade on my 2000 SV650 - looked quite good, bit of a pig to fit as the holes didn't quite line up - also didn't look like much of a bubble.

I have just fitted a Zero Gravity DB screen to my SV1000. Not too bad to fit (once I realised it was easier if the fairing is removed ). All the holes then lined up quite well. It has a really nice shape, and overall the quality seems much better than the Airblade.

I jusr fitted a F.Fabbri one to my '00 the other week, it's fantastic... I replaced another double bubble to fit it, and even though the screen's not as tall as the old one the aerodynamics are better, so my head's right out of the blast instead of mainly out of it. Fitted first time too (so did the old Nuvo one) and basically fits as well as a stocker.
