Default NEW bolt on Exhaust...

Hey

Got a new BOLT-on IXIL racing on my SVS650-K2 this evening, that didnt work out.

My bike runs up/down up/dowm in rpm all the time, until i reach 6000rpm
It pulls back the bike as well -NOT NICE.

Seems like too little gas, too much air ??

Runs with Dyno2, 165 mains, BMC race !!!

Any ideas for help, and to solve it ?

Cheers
Per

Hmmm, the can shouldnt cause that on its own. Did you do the jetting, filter etc at the same time? Its probably the filter. I know that theres a race and a race rs, one works, one dont. Mike1234 will be ya man.

Nope, did the Dyno and the fiter this winter, pre BOS slip on.....
That worked fine.

Mounted the bolt-on a few hour ago, and it can only be that one.

Very very strange. I have never head of a can making that change. However, if the filter+dyno kit etc was set up to a stock can, then that could be the problem. Maybe you need to get it back on the dyno to be set up. If you have the stock airfilter, then bung that back in and see if it makes a difference. 9/10 its the filter that causes problems.

6000 is your main jet kicking in...

165 with a BMC Race?

Sounds like running rich.

165 with a BMC Race RS is about right.

Try taking the filter out and reving to see if its got same effect. You can tell if its running rich that way.

Whatever you're using, with a 165 mains you need tank spacers to supply the air. Northwind will be along shortly to explain...
