Cheapest place to get tyres???

does anyone know if you can get tyres cheap at the BMF show??? im sure a friend of a friend got a 190 size back tyre for his SP1 from the BMF and paid around 50 quid - does this sound right?? SV tyre being a 160 should surely be cheaper than that???

No. A 190 or 180 section tyre always seems to be on 'deal' as they are the 2 most popular sizes by volume sold, hence why they are cheaper.

As a rule, it totaly depends on which brand you want. It may all be well saving £20 on a rear tyre, but then you have to pay for it to be fitted.

If you can get a rear for £50 then good on ya, but gigs like that are few and far between for us SV riders

For mail order tyres these guys are hard to beat, I've used them loads of times. Good selection of tyres, fast and free delivery anywhere in UK or Ireland.

I just picked up a rear tyre, pirelli diablo strada for £91 that includes postage n packaging from www.motorbike-tyres.com

They do discount on pairs, £10 off and free p+p.

I paid around £90 for a rear Metzler Z6 from Micheldever tyres, fitted, ride in ride out

have a google for them, worth a trip if you are in the area IMHO
