Default can i drill carbon fibre?

just as the title says, i need to make a hole in a sheet of cf but an not sure if drilling will ruin the weave?
advice please

an old handrill if you have one or slowly if you don't

Filter mask on. The fibres from CF are bad for you. So when you drill it or snap a bit off, they get released into the air.
