Right.. I can't remember when it began, but must be a while now.
After a certain amount of time (after getting the fuelling adjusted for the various mods) the engine performance drops significantly. For example just before I went to the Isle of Man I had some engine work done i.e. throttle bodies etc (12K Service but engine only!). Ran very well all week, after a week or so of coming back it has started running badly again.... Not happy, does anyone else experience this? (SILVER K3S) Is there a better way to tune the bike so that it keeps running at optimum performance? Would a power commander stop this? By lack of power I mean, it feels like the engine is being held back. Happens in both wet and try and I have never had any problems with the front plug getting wet etc. Please help, its no fun riding at the moment! |

Have you checked the plugs and HT leads? I had a Ninja that did this. Would be fine for a week and then start losing power. Turned out to be a dodgy HT lead.

I will check the leads. But once it loses power it doesn't pick up again. Also it seems to go once the bike is rejetted (or the FI remapped).
