Default Idiots guide

Hi all. Is there such a thing as an idiots guide to the SV650? I know I have a curvey (curvy?) but what's the difference between my bike and a pointy bike? I've spent all night reading forums and there's a few nicknames I'm not up to speed on just yet. Thanks.

Just stick around, don't feed the animals and all will become clear.

Curvy because it's rounded are the 99 - 02 models with carbs. Pointies (because they are) 03 - with FI (Fuel injection) beiing the major change apart from body panels & anything you might want to replace are generally not interchangeable.

Next question?

Yep, Curvy=Good. Pointy=Bad.
Thats all you need to know really.
The home page has a lot of info in the review section. Pretty much just carbs v fuel injection (other than the looks of course!)
