Default Codecs help

I am trying to use a PMP, I can take video, but when I try and play it back in windows media player I get a codec error ...

"Windows Media Player Error Message Help
You've encountered an error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue.

Codec is missing
Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the Intel IMA ADPCM (11) codec is not installed on your computer.

The missing codec might be available to download from the Internet. To search for the Intel IMA ADPCM (11) codec, go to the WMPlugins.com Web site. "

I am trying to find but no joy yet

HELP!!

for reference see the bottom of page 4 in this thread ... http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=91105&page=4

Or you could just go to google and type in "Intel IMA ADPCM (11) codec download"

You could try installing GOM player, seems to play all the random files I've got, even on Vista.

I linked him to the Klite Codec Pack in the other thread (bullet cam solution).

SoulKiss. Didn't even need to click the link to know which pack you were linking to.

From other thread

I have tried millions of codec packs (including K-Lite (I had an old version already, but downloaded latest)) and various analysis software, but I am still out of luck (Perhaps I could have spent more time trying to understand what the analysis stuff was trying to tell me, but I looked up the codecs it appeared to think it was coded in) ... there is a chance it is just my PC as in the end I was getting errors uninstalling stuff ... or I just missed something obvious to others??

I'll upload the original files and perhaps others can have a crack .. as I am about to throw the thing in the bin I am that piddle off with it!!

Remember my remit, we MUST find a codec so it works with standard Windows programs ... I am not interested in other software/players or converting it prior, that just complicates life!!

I can get it converted and played, but it screws the sound on big files and is hassle. Its direct compatibility with Windows Movie Maker that is the most important to me, not just playing it!!!
