how difficult would it be to change a faired bike to a naked one and how the fluffy eck do you stop the clocks looking like they're stranded in space lol

From what i've read, mostly on here, its not a particularly simple mod. Consensus was that it's a lot better idea to sell one and buy the other.

Agreed.Given that the naked bikes tend to be a tad cheaper, and will be cheaper to insure(not modified)selling the S and buying an N is the way.

I would agree, though I am in the process as you can see by my avatar. Though mine is not going fully naked, more high riser bars and quarter fairing rather then the half fairing.

I agree with all these guys, in particular the bit about insurance, an S will still be an S even without its fairing and is one group higher. They tend to be cheaper to buy as well, at least up here they are, not in such demand.

I done it only because I liked my bike and it had a solid engine, it's also in decent nick so I thought I'd rather keep my bike than end up buying a sack of poo.
It aint a cheap swap as people have said, IF you can get shut of al your bits it shouldn't be too pricey, but a lot of mine were a bit scuffed or damaged after a couple of offs. I'm pretty happy with mine, but it's all personal taste aint it? By the way, on the clocks front I've got a set from an "N" but they's a bit pricey. |
