Yup, but you know what you're doing. Most folks don't know how tight to make a sump bolt, without a torque wrench and a manual...
Then they strip it. I always take a fair bit of torque figures that are in the haynes manual.

Please don't do that... Apart from anything else oily stuff is a good way to block your drains But most council waste sites have the ability to deal with used engine oil.

Not really. Engine oil (except cheapo pure mineral oil) is a synthetic chemical, not related at all to the stuff that gets sucked out from the ground to make petrol etc.

An oil change is never the wrong thing to do, but in this circumstance I'd adjust the clutch first.

can u really put engine oil on a compost heap? don't wanna kill all my plants when i mulch the borders in spring.
