I have an EVO3 blue flame on mine. Its the highline one and it looks the dogs balls. Only problem I had was the bracket didnt fit properly, it made the can sit lower that I liked. If I was buying again I would buy the same can, I will forward a few photos to see wat you think

This was my Blueflame EVO3 can. I now have a different can.

PROS

Nicest looking cans for a pointy IMO.
Loud
Lifetime guarantee

CONS

Hanger strap doesn't fit properly so the can vibrates against it making small rub marks and scratches.

They sent me the wrong link pipe at first, K3 instead of a K5 link pipe. Took me ages and many tries to get through the phoneline to get a new one, but they were really helpful when they answered.

Like Fizz said, do a search for Blueflame in the exhaust section and you'll find out all you need to know. Build quality has gone up over the years*.

*I assume this as my can didn't blow apart like the earlier ones of Fizz and Viney

Testing - there you go DoubleD. Looks like you're using HTML code which the forum doesn't allow.

OK I had a Blue EVO dual port trioval titanium can on my curvey SV.

After a few months it popped a rivet on the endcap, which I replaced. It then a few months later popped another rivet in the same location which I again replaced. It periodically kept doing this.

After 18 thousand miles it started to blow the packing out of it so I removed the can from my bike. I found out that

It had also popped two more rivets, the end cap had cracked. the can had vibrated so much that the can strap hanger had worn its way through the titanium outer skin and made a hole in it.

The problem I've basically found is that the can hanger just doesnt support the weight of the can properly. As Law points out its not a good fit so it allows the can to flex and twist with the pulses of the V-Twin it slowly destroys the can over a period of time. I know a few others on here, Viney and Dr Rich who had blue flame cans with similar problems.

I sent the can back to Blue Flame and they repaired it on the life time warranty scheme. But I dont think I should have had to in the first place. I can't fault their customer service however.

Since I've refitted the can I modified the strap so it supports the can better, I also took a lot more care over how I refitted it and so far its been fine ( done about 4k with it on the bike )

So maybe they have sorted these issues out. But personally its a lot of money to spend and I wouldnt want to buy another can from them that did the same.

They do however look and sound nice. I'm not trying to put you off I'm just telling you what happened to me. Again personally I'd say that the Remus range of exhausts are a much better product. My girlfriend has one on her SV and its done 25K and it still looks good as new.

Hope that gives you a bit more info.

You shortened your exhaust? How and why and where and..... What effect has it had?

Where'd you get the clear indicator lenses?
