What tyres to buy?
I am new to this site and also to the SV. My bike is in need of a tire change back and front, i am hoping to ride my bike all year round can you guys and girls recommend me a tire for everyday riding during winter and summer that will also hold in knee-down corners. My bike is the naked 650 k2.

I have Metezeler Z6's. I really like them, they give me confidence even in the wet and cold. Think quite a few other people on here rate them too.

Ditto Z6's
BT021's also worth a look. In the UK Conti Road Attacks are a cheaper alternative that many people recommend. |

i have avon azaros...not so great in the wet (not too bad mind)
do wear down quite quick aswell, there are better tyres out there (i thought this might b helpful in telling you what tyres to avoid rather than everyone shouting "get the same tyres as me...which can happen) Dont get dunlops either, they're all crap! |

z6 absolutely rock. i swear by them. i had 8k out of a set on my vtr1000f earlier this year!!!!
they are griooy without the need to wait ages to warm them up and considering they are supposed to be a road tyre the grip they provide is amazing!.. id happily do a track day on a set of z6's  Quote:
