I think Martin Brundle said at the end of the race that as Lewis had been lapped, and therefore didn't technically finish the race, even if all the cars infront of him crashed he still wouldn't get anymore points. I'm not quite sure how that works though?

My sentiments exactly. Formula NONE has been fishy for decades.

Stick all the drivers in identical cars - no electronics, no driver-assistance aids, and THEN we'll see who the better driver is.

Until then it'll always be a farce.

IMHO

Why did he need to make that extra fuel stop?
What was wrong with his gears in the first place?

If it was Alonso there would be cries of conspiracy!!!!!

I hope this protest from McLaren fails... I really want Lewis to win, but winning on a technicality like that would be a hollow victory, I think. There's always next year!

err, it was his team that messed up, they kept him out on track with tires completley shreaded and no grip what so ever, they even admitted to it.

If it was any other team im sure they would have done the same thing and complain. Its an iregulatiry and the stewards should be consistant which, this season they have not been. The rules are clearly stated and if you dont adhear to them then you should get a penalty, if they dont do that then all that happens is the teams constantly break them incuring small advantages here and there.
