Well, I just got in. I'm entirely sober, so there's still a chance I might come down, but the lure of the lie-in is quite strong. If my body-clock wakes me up in time for work (quite likely) then I'll come down. Don't wait too long on the offchance!

Good ride...
Started getting a feel for the SV again toward the end. There is nothing like preping for an overtake by popping it down a gear to 10,000rpm and then realising as you twist the throttle and pull out that you are riding a twin with no power at that rpm and only 1,000rpm left to the limiter grrrrrrrrr. Made me kack my pants a couple of times. Plus kept locking the rear as I changed down through the gears under breaking. Have to get used to that engine breaking again.
