Re: Oulton today
I'm planning a trip there with my oldest mate who lives in N. Wales cos it looks to be a great track. It's a bit bleak though, hardly any facilities or even a proper car park.

Re: Oulton today
Nah its not that bad. As a rider at race day or for track days you use the paddock anyway which is all tarmac, plenty of room to park. Facilities seem to be improving all the time as the investment comes in. They really have done a superb job on the track itself.
I heard they are attempting to secure a BSB round soon which should bring further improvements. Even as a spectator you get some superb views of the racing and the scenery is simply stunning. On a par with Philip Island in terms of backdrop. |

Yes
Me: http://trackdaydigitalimages.com/220...s/page_35.html Index : http://trackdaydigitalimages.com/220208nroo/index.html Not hard to work out which one's me. There's a few decent pics and I especially like 220208_5415 as there's me right behind Danny, my mate, coming out of Cascades. I showed the folks the website this afternoon and my mum wants a framed print of this one for her front room dresser - beats some scabby old wedding pic with the ex-witch: http://trackdaydigitalimages.com/220...s/page_56.html |

Re: Oulton today
That zorst is weird. It came to me with a full Akrapovic race system marked 'not for road use', but it's so damn quiet. Whoever set the bike up on the dyno at Lloyd Coopers after the exhaust and dynojet kit went on (I think it was Dave Lawes) did a wonderful job. There's no burble or popping on the overrun and the power delivery is strong as you could expect all the way through, with no holes in the carburation anywhere.
