Phew just slipped in under the radar there - my Mrs is 22 and I am 30!

There's nothing wrong with an older woman(within reason) as long as its only short term.

Long term they are going to look worse a lot quicker than you. Hence my plan is when i hit 40-odd, find a nice twenty something woman.

I've just handed a report in on human mate choice, turns out its 'the norm' for men to prefer younger women and women to prefer older men.

Evolutionary scientific explanation is the men want a mate who will potentially be fertile for longer therefore higher reproductive success and women want older men who will be more able to provide for and pass on money and status to offspring.

Possible more realistic reasons are because women like maturer men, usually with lots of money for shopping and men like attractive and fit women

Obviously this is theory but usually the case.
