An idiot thread eh?

What about this: two dads, each with thier kid riding on their sholders. They see me and my dad waiting at some traffic lights, they wave, I wave back, rev my bike, kids like.

Dad number one lowers his kid and I high-five her

dad number two takes his kid off his shoulders and tries to sit him on my pillion seat. Kid is probably lucky he didnt catch his leg (wearing shorts) on my hot exhaust and burn himself and the dad is lucky the bike didnt topple on his kid, becasue I would have been livid. I protested "no no no no!" until he took his kid off, then he proceeded to slap me (hard) on the shoulder "sorry mate, he wans a ride, he wants to go to peacehaven!!"

Very silly thing to do. Ver silly indeed. I don't mind poeple coming up, saying hello, "rev your bike mister" etc etc, but sticking their kid on my bike while I'm waiting to roar off up the hill? No. No no no.

great skills always good in a safe environment. Can't tell how safe he was from the original post, so my reaction changes depending really.

Matt, that is well off what they did.

It happened along Chadwell Heath high road,if any of you know it.

Totally agree with you.... what if he`d lost control of the bike? If someone wants to show off with wheelies do it on a race track. A friend of mine pulled a wheelie at some traffic lights, fell of the back of the bike and the bike carried on upright ploughing into 2 women waiting at the crossing and then came to rest in the side of a car.

I was out Saturday Evening for a ride on my Fazer 1000, doing 30 in a 30 limit when a I saw in my mirrors a chav in t-shirt, jeans & trainers thrashing the guts out of his 50cc moped to overtake me and then just swerved off to the left! Bloody idiot - I just shook my head at him.
