I think they're both good makes, but the Hamicad tends to get the best reviews. I had one and can definitely recommend it.

Is Google down today?

It's a replacement for the (rather large) piece of plastic that holds your number plate - it's a lot smaller and makes it look sleeker/better/etc on the rear end.

Thinking of getting one of these, but unsure which one to get.

Is it better to go for the standard one or the one for the mini indicator one.
I don't have a clue about eletrics so i am being pulled towards a standard one.

Is there any wiring involved when fitting these or is it just pull the connectors out and then replace?

A bit of topic but is it easy to fit mini indicators to the front.

Hamicad at least lets you fit either type of indicator so no need to choose. I think I had to cut my wiring for the tail light (and incidentally for the mini indicators I had too) but you can get adaptors for both of those.

I looked at getting a tail tidy but decided on other mods first (airflow screen, crash bungs, scott-oiler etc) on the basis that I'll be taking nobbylass on the bike a fair bit and as I understand it, taking the snow shovel stock rear off and replacing it with a tail tidy would mean she gets covered in mud.

Now whilst that may appeal to me in some respects, she wouldn't be happy. So, I'd presumably need a hugger which is more money. Although I like the look of tail tidies, don't really want to fork out for 2 x bits of kit (just yet).
