Not been on a decent rideout for ages either.. Be good if you could make it, will stick a link in the GM section, and it's not just cos I don't really know where the Pirbright twisties are

This is going to be a bit of a shocker. They are quite close to Pirbright.

I don't think I'm going to be able to make the ride. Which is a shame as I have never done the Pirbright bends.

You would love them Si, a bit like those twities you showed me although not as scary. That's the last time I try to keep up with you on raosd you know. Nick, I was only messing about the AR dude. Just a shame you couldn't make it. I would love to do this rideout but seriously, I am not sure I can afford the fuel for it. Times so so hard at the moment.

pirbright twisites are scary IMO, the are quite afew fast blind turns, near enough right angle down hill negitive camber turns, you have to keep your head on right and not mess about.

I went there with stu (cant remember his new name now) and after going around them 3 times I think I was quite drained as it was my first time, super fun though!! highly recomended!!

and its very easy to find, there is a M4 junction a couple of miles away from it IIRC>>

I'd love to join in this but I've got a bit of idea. It could be wonderful but it could all go horribly wrong.
  • EAR could be having a rideout on Bank Holiday week end AND
  • TVSF could also be having a rideout Bank Holiday week end AND
  • I live right in the middle of both groups (sort of) SO
  • How about meet somewhere between the two (Silver Ball comes to mind on the A10 at Reed) middle of the day. Ride around some of the lovely roads ( A507 close by, or Finchingfield or Stradishall etc) THEN
  • End the day at mine for a BBQ
Let me know your thoughts. Might even invite some of the Soho ragbag if they're really nice to me
