Re: A bad day - Sunday 27th July
It makes the Welsh polices hardline tactics seem somewhat justified really.
Although its not just wales with the problem, reading bbc teletext last night at least 3 were killed in the midlands over the weekend. All head ons. A bit of sun and all the summer riders who havnt riden at all for 7/8 months come out......and the end result is sadly all over the news. (slightly speculating I know, but most likely the issue)

RIP fallen bikers, we've had several in the last few months on the island, almost universally car drivers not looking before pulling out, one critical last week, and another broke his spine at the exact same junction this week, where a bloke with his young daughter on the back was killed a month or two ago because some idiot old woman rolled across a give way without stopping

Re: A bad day - Sunday 27th July
Sad news.
We read an article in a bike mag recently that suggested dehydration could be a factor in many bike accidents on hot days. You can apparently be dehydrated enough to affect you before you even start to feel thirsty. It certainly was bloody hot at the weekend.
