Re: restrictor kit??
Welcome to the site.
The curvy SV has 2 types of restrictor kit for it. 1 The genuine suzuki article, these are a set of carb slides which have a hole in them to stop them being raised all the way by vacuum like normal. 2 The FI international kit, these are a pair of washers which sit underneath the carbs and restrict airflow that way. Most bike garages will be able to sort something out. Cost, probably a lot. A lot of people just get some secondhand restrictors and fit them themselves. Chris

Re: restrictor kit?
Hey Guys im new to the site too
Just had mine restricted by a garage not far from me (almost every bike garage can do them) they usually use FI kits but i dont think there much difference in price so usually they cost £130 ish + 1hr (£45) ish labour You are usually paying for the paper to give your insurance to prove it is restricted |

Re: restrictor kit?
You can always study the FI international site, find the name of the company they import from (german company, washers are 25kW) and buy direct from them, costs about ?70-80 from what I remember.

Re: restrictor kit?
When I get the washers out of my old carbs, I'll measure them up for you and seriously, just go down to a hardware store and get some, get the garage to sign a bit of paper saying it's restricted, post to insurers, job's a goodun.
