Which Bike - VFR,R850R or Z750

Falco...



2nd choice VFR 800 pre Vtec.

The Falco does look lovely, but I'm probably heading down the honda route now (unless I see a really nice Kwak)

VFR is a nice bike. The sound they make.... Warrr.

Unfortunately the VTEC ones sound crap with the standard exhausts on, and they cost a fair few spondoolies to change

I had spoken to a friend about the shafties coming out - he thought the market would fall apart for older ones, but from the prices I have seen that just ain't going to happen - although the old credit crunch could play into my hands a bit

Personally I'd say VFR but then I'm biased.

I found the VFR800 VTEC dull and annoying (in comparison to my '88 VFR750), undoubtedly a far better bike all round though.

IIRC there is also a big, very expensive service required every (again IIRC) 16k on the VTEC, like 500 quid expensive at subsidised rates!

Can't speak for the other bike, but I bought aVFR 800 on Wednesday and it's magic. I'm really enjoying riding it. Was concerned it would feel a bit heavy in traffic but it doesn't seem to and its soo comfy

Enjoy trying them out.

That was what my wife said about mine, said it was an effort to lift it off the (side) stand but as soon as it's moving it's light as anything and like a big sofa.
Then again she rides an NC35 so just about anything is big and comfy in comparison!
