We're going to meet Mr Speirs at Jack Hills Cafe, on the A5 near Towcester

Bit far for me i'm afraid Pete. Would be a high mileage day and need to save at least a bit of money. Have a good ride anyway.

C is probably the right one for you to get home quicker but is a boring road, as is B and haven't been on A but that brings you out at Towcester.

To be honest I'm not too worried about getting home quick as this rideout isn't all that long. I just want a nice bit a road with some nice bends in it so I can enjoy both the good weather and the ride home.

Also, I'd go to Wantage from Faringdon, and up to Frilford that way. Nothing special about that way, it's just that the A420 is very dull.
