Seriously though, Ruth, go and decide what you want to do. Let us know what you decide! If you want to keep the SV there are numerous offers from people on here willing to help you so take them up on it.

If you decide to get another bike, again, I'm sure those abovementioned people would be happy to come out with you for some experience.

If you decide its not for you just now, then hey, thats also cool, sure someone will take you pillion....!

I think the SV650 was a blind alley for you. Far better to stay with the cruiser style that you were comfortable with. There are larger versions to choose from , Yamaha XV535 or Dragstar 650 for instance. They probably start off being 2 - 3 inches lower than an SV as standard. Get the seat sculpted and there's another 1 - 2 inches. Hey presto!

It's 170 kilos not 200. That's what I remember it to be from when I compared everything a year ago when I bought mine. Mine is the naked.

Guess the sports version is heavier.
