the E model has all the mods already fitted that you'll probably want to do to an SM if it doesn't have a V5 just register it as an enduro (~£100) and get some wheels off ebay (~£250-800)

Re: Learner Legal SuperMoto
Hay guys,
Thanks for all the advice. I am gonna give the school a call tomorrow and get it organized. As for paying for the lot of it. I have only taken 3 days off since X-mas so work is not the issue more the rate of pay. I have worked 62hrs already this week and have another 3 days of work lined up. YEY!!!! (not looking for sympathy just saying) As for bikes I am still unsure about what I want. I do like the sv it's a nice bike but I am really drawn to the DRZ and I would very much like an Africa Twin. Jon Ps: I am luckypants' boy. Last edited by kayaker413; 12-02-09 at 08:39 PM. |

Re: Learner Legal SuperMoto
Hey Jon. Nice to see you on here my good man.
I currently own an SV and it is a nice bike yet I would really like a DRZ also. My only thing is that I don't think (with a full licence) I would only have the DRZ. It seem to be a real good bike but as an all rounder I think the SV is a better choice. Each to their own however. So you have decided to do your full licence...good man/ Look forward to meeting you at NW4.5

Ayup man.
Africa twin is not particularly like the DRZ style of bike. Africa twin is far more sedate.

Re: Learner Legal SuperMoto
good luck jon
(those africa twins are big old bikes) just do a few odd jobs around the house, and drop the odd hint for the DRZ |
