easy, bungee right up to the grav rail, and cargo net a sleeping bag on top of it. Or buy a rentec rack and spread the load. Its a piece of cake after a few attempts

When required I can fit a two man tent, ground sheet, sleeping bag (albeit a 'proper' camping one that rolls up really small), tent pegs & enough clothes for a weekend away in my rucksack.
Whilst I'm not sure of the exact capacity of said rucksack it certainly isn't massive & whilst riding it sits nicely on the pillion seat cover (covered of course to prevent any scratches etc) which takes most of the weight. It's a lot less hassle than messing around with panniers or (God forbid) a topbox !!
