Fox's has changed hands?
From their web site it looks like it happened in March but I didn't notice any real difference last time I was there, which I think was early April.
Just noticed this load of old rubbish from TV Police on the H Cafe web site... "I understand that the club has in the region of 250 members, yet 1400 passed through on the Monday prior to our meeting. Most complaints that I receive are from surrounding villages in relation to speed, loud exhausts and small number plates. I will be working closely with Steve and Shaun to reduce these complaints which unfortunately give all good bikers a bad name." Do plod seriously expect us to believe that local villagers complain to the police about the size of motorcyclists' numberplates? I almost feel insulted. Is the cafe any better? Or, at least, any less bad?

Yup it's got a new lease of life and much impressed.. I think anyway!
As you said why are people complaining about numberplates.. they tripped up there.. they must think we're stupid!! Even the best bikers like a loud can so they can up themselves. |

Went there on monday, i personally didnt notice much of a difference except that the car park was full of lots and lots and lots of bikes; a sure sign that summer's round the corner (*touch wood*)

So is it now the H Cafe that I've heard of, but didn't know where that was?

Re: Fox's has changed hands?
They have more staff and do hog roasts and stuff on the bank holiday etc - seems they have got their s**t together a bit more. Other than the sign, there is no real change to the aesthetics, just quicker service. They also have a DJ out sometimes playing dubious music (louder than race cans). Might pop down later with my race exhaust and small plate, riding on one wheel whilst drinking a Stella - well, we need to give some credibility to plods BS don't we.

Re: Fox's has changed hands?
The service has improved vastly with the new owners- the drinks fridge is kept well stocked for a start esp on hot busy weekends, and the wait for food doesn't seem to be half as long either when it's busy...
