Oil Leak :-(
Riding home in the wet last night I kept hitting what I thought were patches of diesel. When I got home I realised it was me leaving a trail of oil behind me
Had a look this morning and the oil is only leaking when the engine is running. It looks like its coming from a pipe that looks like its joined with some rubber sleaving (see pic). leak2.jpg Is this something that I can repair or are new parts needed Thanks Ste |

Be careful riding it as its oil under pressure, if the pipe ruptures you'll have a pool of oil under your bike that might well have you off. |

Re: Oil Leak :-(
Yep, there was a guy making and selling new ones on here a while ago.
alternatively a search on ebay or around the breakers might get you some newer ones |

Re: Oil Leak :-(
Well they're dead easy to replace. What they cost I don't know.
When Samnooshka's oil lines blew following being damaged in an accident, we got some new ones made up at a pirtek outlet near us. Took the old ones and they made up new braided steel lines rated to about 20x the pressure they'd ever face. Weren't cheap though... Jambo
