I thought the pub was slightly worse: a bit more open, bit more posh. Food was ok price but not a bargainous £10 for two courses like the shire. No real ale either. Its always nice for a change but I think the shire beats it so far. Ride back on the motorway was very quick, but it is getting cold now
 .
