i see what you did ther
 but will do some research before buying, in have nothing against the GTX280 its just a outdated furnest, that should be only used ina freezer and then maybe, just maybe i can use it without causing a reaction cause the flux capacitor in my pc to blow, causing it to go 88MPH and then end up in the past,future.Took me a while to think of that

ati everytime for me nvidia are dropping behind imo i have a 4870 and it runs cool.

Even the middle of the road 5850 is as good as the nvidia 285, in fact sometimes better, and its cheaper and smaller and runs cooler etc etc. Very cool

it is good too see amd a tiny company in comparison actually compete and beat what is a juggernaut duo intel/nvidia otherwise there'd be no competition without them.

i just got a 5770 and its pritty dam good for a -£150 card .. 130 it was i think
1GB XFX HD5770, PCI-E 2.0(x16), 1200MHz GDDR5, GPU 850MHz, Cores 800, 2x DL DVI-I/HDMI MW2 looks amazing on it with the rest of my new rig.

ATi can **** up on drivers but are generally ahead of the game I think..
