the best race i have had with a car was against a ferarri on the m25, me on the ZX6-R , on the way back from a track day.

leaving a contraflow speedlimit of 50 , he came p behind me, i heard him drop a gear so i dropped to 2nd. as we came to the end, we both gave it the beans, he had his ass handed to him on a plate. It was like need for speed, both of us in and out of traffic across all lanes at well over a ton, untill he chickened out at 140ish which i was glad about as much more the zx would have started so slow bit at over 150.

As i turned off for my junction, we gave eachother a thumbs up and a wave, both apricitive for the fun on the road.

the Mrs caught me up a few min later on her gixxer shaking her head at me disaprovingly.

Some nutty DR on a bandit, caught him at lights on the way home from uni. Sunny but it had absolutely hammered down about 10 minutes before I set off. Had a good bit of a dice heading to the M-way and both flat out up the slip road spinning up over the white lines. Big grins.

Tend to leave cars to it on the Mway as I can't be rsed hanging on at 100+ all the time and the SV isn't that quick at such speeds. In town fair game and the SV's pretty well suited.

lol,

Most PM will know the location, but heading from Leeds towards Hudds on the M621 its 50mph for a short stretch. I like to stick to 50 then roll it through to motorway speed at the national speed limit sign. Just approaching that point and a merc (no idea what model) and a 911 (no idea what spec) but they came past both doing the same as what I'd planned 911 came past second then moved across in front of me looking for the undertake on the merc. I knew I couldnt pass them but I didnt want to be left behind and miss the show. At the point where it goes into 3 lanes I'd caught them up. They didnt seem to be sprinting but just trying to see who dare go faster than the other so I did prob the single dumbest thing I've done on the bike and wound it the whole way round and up through the remaining gears as the hill climbs we were all well in the instant ban range, SV still pulling I took them both through the middle I kept it wound on but they both slowed down. I know they could have gone faster than me but it still made me all smiles.

Other than that have never raced anything.

Not me personally of course, I'm much to responsible..... but a mate of mine was riding across France on his brand new FZR1000 (it was a while ago) with his girlfriend on the back when they came up alongside an Aston Martin. Aston speeds up, mate speeds up, Aston a bit more, mate a bit more. At about 150 the Aston driver decides enough is enough and backs down. Few miles further up the road they pull in for fuel and the Aston pulls in behind. The passenger in the Aston who happened to be a rather attractive young lady wandered over to my mates girlfriend and they started discussing how men will be men....until she asks "oh how fast does the bike go"? My mates girlfriend, all innocent like replies, "Oh we don't know, we're having to take it easy until it's run in". Comment was obviously relayed back to the car because the look on Mr. Astons face as he left was priceless!

Had a good tussle with a 911 carrera 4s. Me and a buddy were travelling along a dual carriageway at about 70-80 when we passed the Porsche. After we had passed, he decided to put his foot down a bit, we pulled out behind him to overtake another vehicle and he slowed. After a hundred metres or so, I decided, screw you, so gunned it and stuck it up the inside, he dropped a gear or 2 and nailed it to. We were fast approaching a car on the inside lane (the lane I was in) and a corner at well over triple figures. I thought, I ain't backing off. I rode the white line, bouncing all over the shop, whilst sticking it between the 2 cars. I swear at one point he was less than a foot away from me, whilst I was banking it over. He bottled it before the corner got too bad, and I just hung on for deal life, hoping the bike was up to it at that speed!

Coming out the other side, I looked back to see his girlfriend having a right go at him! lol

If he had bigger balls, the story would have a different ending!

Can't clear off from an SV on a "superior" 600? have you thought about IAM training, this old age lark sounds like a right inconvenience

P.S play nice or I bring an old and outdated -750 out to play
