Battery query - SV650.org

My battery is pretty much shot and wont even hold for three days of non starting so its time for a new one BUT haynes say i need a YT12A-BS and yet when i search by bike at any battery place it comes up with a YTX12-BS also the battery in there now is a YTX12-BS there looks to be about a £5 difference between the 2 and the YT12A has gold looking plates. so anybody know the difference power and size wise? i will be getting a Yuasa and its just between those 2 so which one?
