I think that theyr a bit pointless unless you do actually do fast riding, trackdays or racing. They probably dont make any difference 80% of the time but because of most of the 1 peice leathers now have them you cant really do much about it. They do look cool though cos rossi has one

I was thinking of getting one piece leathers for more protection. Would I look like a complete prat on an curvy sv?
