Anyone waiting for one of the next generation of hardware? Rumours all over the place that the first dual-core phones will be out before christmas. I'm due an upgrade right now but I'm holding off as the Desire, etc has been out for a while and I don't want to buy at this point (and the wife has one anyway). I also heard a rumour that Android 3 will require a minimum of a 1GHz processor, not much wiggle room with any of the phones available today!!!

I'm waiting too, I'm out of contract this month but am waiting to see what's coming out for Christmas.
HTC have got a big event going on in London tomorrow - rumours on t'internet are that they will announce a few new handsets including a 'Desire HD' running Android 2.2 and also an Android tablet device. Keep an eye on the usual websites like Engadget tomorrow for news.

i did fancy that but it was just that little bit too big and had heard stories of the gps having issues. so went with the desire... just want it now

My second HTC Tattoo has just died. Great phone but the poor reliability is getting a bit annoying.
