Default VTR Firestorms

I may be crossing to the darker side.... sorry!

Been looking at a few VTR Firestorms and now I just have to have one...

Found a nice 50th anniversary one which would be very nice as and when the SV sells I'll still be hanging around here though!

The big twin lures me!

Out of interest anyone ever owned one?

they are real thirsty, worked with a guy who had one and he was lucky to get 100 out of a tank, but he did go everywhere in 2nd gear

Pretty much what Viper gets out of his. Its fine if you are scratching or having a ride out with mates. It gets to be a pain in the bum ( his words not mine ) if you are touring or on a long rideout. I can see him getting twitchy about fuel when we've done 90 miles or so.

Tank range is not the best.

The insurance on a TL was way too much and the SV1000 are too expensive for me I am afraid. I dont ride like that much of a loony, so hopefully they arent that thirsty!

I only get about 140miles out of a tank on the SV before the light comes on though..

Corrected for you

later ones have bigger tanks iirc, so you may just get 105 miles
